How to Create a Social Media Marketing Deal in ARC

This step-by-step guide is intended exclusively for creating Social Media Marketing Deals in ARC. Please ensure all steps are followed precisely to ensure proper setup, billing alignment, and campaign activation.


  1. Log in to ARC
  2. Go to the “Accounts” tab on the left-hand side of the page
  3. Find the account for which you would like to create the Social Media Marketing Deal
  4. Click on the “Agreements” tab within the account
  5. Select “New Social Media Marketing Deal”

Important: To be eligible for a Social Media Marketing Deal, the client must have at least 12 months remaining on their current print agreement.

  • If the client does not have 12 months of print remaining, they must agree to and sign a new 12-month (or longer) print agreement before the Social Media Marketing Deal can be created.
  • Once the new print agreement has been entered and is signed, you may proceed with creating the Social Media Marketing Deal as usual.
  • Post Signature: After the digital contract is signed, you may email National Support to request removal of any remaining insertions from the original print agreement. This step ensures proper alignment of the client’s print and digital timelines for accurate billing.
  1. Choose the appropriate digital tier
    1. Bronze: 10-mile radius reach, 15,000+ impressions
    2. Silver: Up to a 15-mile radius reach, 30,000+ impressions
    3. Gold: Up to a 20-mile radius, 50,000+ impressions
  2. Select the associated publication for the Social Media Marketing Deal campaign
  3. Ensure you are selected as the agreement manager for proper commission credit
  4. Next, you have the option to input external notes visible to the client
  5. You can also add internal notes for the Social Media Marketing team
  6. Click “Next”
  7. Choose whether to sign the agreement now or email it to the client
  8. Choose the contact who will receive the agreement
  9. You may edit the proposal email to personalize it for the client before sending
  10. Once the agreement is sent, the client will need to:
    1. Enter billing information (Note: Billing information should automatically populate from their existing print agreement)
    2. Sign the deal
  11. After the agreement is signed, the Social Media Marketing campaign team will reach out to both you and your client within 2 business days with onboarding information
