Selling Ads to Other Magazines

When you agree to allow other publishers to sell into your magazine, you are agreeing to:

  1. Allow the Agreement Manager (the Publisher selling the agreement) to:
    1. Manage the client relationship
      1. This includes communicating ad and payment deadlines.
    2. Process any cancellations or changes
    3. Handle collections
      1. All payments will be split evenly across all magazines in the agreement.
  2. Pay the Agreement Manager 15% of the ad rate that is sold into your magazine.
    1. An alternative arrangement could be to sell comparably priced ads into one another’s magazines

When you sell to another publisher’s magazine, you are agreeing to:

  1. Oversee the client relationship on behalf of all magazines.
  2. Discuss all changes that impact other publishers before the changes are made.
    1. If the other publisher does not agree with the changes being made, the decision ultimately falls to the Agreement Manager as they’re the one with the relationship with the client.
    2. No changes should be made without making the other publisher(s) aware.
  3. Ensure timely payment of all invoices across all magazines.
