Page Rate Requirements & Policy
Purpose:
To establish consistent page rate standards that support publisher profitability, operational consistency, and long-term business health.
Page Rate Requirements:
Minimum Page Rate (Post-Launch)
- Publishers must maintain a minimum average page rate of $1,200 at all times.
- Any new contract that would result in an average page rate to drop below $1200 will automatically decline in ARC
- A system error pop-up will notify the submitter
- Any contract changes, loss of insertions, or cancellations outside of the advertising agreement terms and conditions that would result in an average page rate to drop below $1200 will not be permitted.
Pre-Launch Standards (New Publishers)
- Starting with the March 2026 training class, the required pre-launch average page rate is $1,400
- This aligns with where active publishers are expected to land over time
- Prelaunch Publishers may include up to one (1) full page of $0 ads at launch
- No additional $0 pages will be permitted for Prelaunch pubs
- Prelaunch contracts resulting in an average page rate below $1,400 will be automatically declined in ARC
