How to Enter the Masthead

The Masthead is your go-to section for acknowledging everyone involved in the production of your publication. It runs alongside the Lifestyle Letter and is where writers, photographers, and your local team receive credit for their contributions. While contributors assigned in ARC automatically populate in the Masthead, any external contributions must be manually added.

  1. Navigate to the Issues tab under the editorial section in ARC.
  2. Scroll down to the content list and click on the Masthead section.
    1. This section is preset to a ½ page of content.
  3. To add contributing writers and photographers, use the designated text boxes at the top of the page to list any additional contributors.
    1. List names in alphabetical order and separate by commas.
  4. Your local team members should auto-populate based on their titles listed in ARC. Use the dropdown menu to modify titles as needed (e.g., change "Editorial Coordinator" to "Editor"). Only titles available in ARC can be used in the Masthead.
  5. To add missing team members, click “Add” to include any local staff not already listed.
  6. Use the dropdown to assign their title, then manually input their name and email address.
  7. You may need to remove incorrect team members because of ARC sharing permissions. Click the black “X” at the right of any person that needs to be removed.
  8. Always click Save before exiting the page. Remember, ARC does not autosave!
