How to Enter Business Monthly
Business Monthly is meant to educate readers on noteworthy city announcements, exciting business updates for advertising partners or prospective clients, and community news. This section is not mandatory and can be set to 0 pages if you wish to leave it out, however, it is a great way to give extra attention to your ad partners or prospective clients.
- Navigate to the issues tab under the editorial section in Arc.
- Scroll down to the editorial timeline and click on the Business Monthly section.
- Set the number of pages by clicking the “Set Pages” tab. You can set this to anywhere between 0 pages up to 5 pages.
- For a ½ page, include 1 entry; for a full page, be sure to include 3 entries.
- To add an entry, click the “Add” button. The text box will appear for your first entry.
- Fill out the title and body copy in the designated fields. You can include up to 75 words in the body copy.
- A photo must be included with each entry. To add a photo, click “Choose File” to upload a photo from your library, or you can use a stock image by clicking the icon titled, “Choose Adobe Stock Image.” Add the Adobe stock image you would like to use and select, “Add Photo.”
- The dimensions for the Business Monthly photos are 1.97 x 1.70 inch square. The image should be bigger than 2x2 inches to fit. If you do not have a photo to fit the space you can include a stock photo.
- A QR code can be included for ad partners who have a business listing on our website. Simply type the name of the business in the designated spot titled “Business” and a QR code will appear. Click save.
- This section is optional, so you can skip this step if the business isn’t listed in ARC.
- To add additional listings, click “Add” and a text box will appear. Repeat the process to add text, photos, and a QR code if applicable.
- ARC doesn’t autosave, so be sure to click save before exiting the Business Monthly section.
It is best to upload these a minimum of 3 days before your deadline closes so that you can account for any photo resolution issues.
