Adding an Ad Insertion to a Contract

Adding an ad insertion into a contract allows publishers to accommodate specific needs, resolve issues, or provide additional value to their clients. This may happen for several reasons, such as making up for a missed or incorrect ad, fulfilling a client request for bonus exposure, or offering extra space as part of a promotional package. Ad insertions can be added at any cost, including $0.00, as long as it aligns with the advertiser’s goals and are finalized before the Creative Ads Deadline for the month. Being flexible with insertions helps maintain strong relationships with advertisers while ensuring the magazine remains on track for production.


To add an ad insertion into a contract, this must be done internally by a National Support Specialist.

To request this in Arc:

  1. Click the “?” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. In the beacon, select "Email" to submit a support request or "Chat" if a specialist is available.

When submitting your request, include all key details to ensure a smooth process:

  • Account Name
  • Insertion Size
  • Insertion Cost
  • Terms (month(s) and year for the insertion)
  • Any other relevant information

A support specialist will follow up if additional details are needed and when the insertion has been added to the contract.
