I’m writing as the publisher of [Magazine name] to ask for your help with something we do every year.

The Kingdom Building Foundation, our magazine’s nonprofit partner, runs an annual Giving Campaign for people in our community whose needs often go unseen: an unexpected illness or accident, a job loss, a family quietly struggling to keep up, or someone who doesn’t fit the usual assistance programs. The foundation depends on people who know this community well to find them, which is why I’m asking you.

If someone comes to mind, please nominate them at kingdombuildingfoundation.org. It takes a few minutes.

A few things to know:

• Nominations are confidential. The foundation will not share who you nominated or that the nomination came from you.
• Selected recipients receive a check in the mail with a card letting them know a neighbor nominated them. Whether to tell them it was you is entirely your choice.
• There are no strings attached, for you or for them. The foundation does not accept outside donations.

Nominations are open now through December 3. Please feel free to forward this to coworkers, friends, or anyone else who may know of a need.
